A Reading featuring Ammiel Alcalay & Ana Božičević
The long awaited 10th anniversary 2nd edition of from the warring factions by Ammiel Alcalay with a new introduction by legendary poet Diane di Prima, a new afterward by Alcalay, an extended discussion with poet Benjamin Hollander, and an accompanying text by editor Fred Dewey; this brings back into print Alcalay’s book-length poem dedicated to the Bosnian town of Srebrenica.

Born in Zagreb, Croatia, Ana Božičević emigrated to New York City in 1997 and studied at Hunter College. She is the author of several chapbooks, including Morning News (2006) and Document (2007). Her first book-length collection, Stars of the Night Commute (2009), was a finalist for the Lambda Literary Awards. Her second book, Rise in the Fall, is forthcoming from Birds, LLC.
